Tristen and Jason were married on the first Saturday in February.  A lovely garden setting not far away from where we live.  Despite temperatures in the high 30’s and some noisy birds in the adjoining lake and a gum nut that fell out of a tree and almost clobbered Jason it was a beautiful event with humour, emotion and obvious love.  It was followed by a reception at a city hotel that was fantastic and I don’t think anyone left until the official finish of midnight.  Lots of good humour, great company, some outstanding speeches (and one that was probably less than memorable) first class buffet and an endless supply of wine.  And on top of that I didn’t even have to drive home…can it get any better that that?
